Incredibly Fresh Scent and Easy on Sensitive Skin January 4, 2007 Mir (North Miami Beach, FL USA) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
This product is just top-notch. I hesitated before I ever bought it--the price, ouch, the price!--but when I finally caved about three years ago, I was sorry I didn't splurge sooner.
The smell is unbeatable. By far my favorite shower smell--herbally, clean, fills room with just this lovely greeny beaut of a scent. It reminds me, somehwhat, of the original Herbal Essence shampoo smell (before they went to various too-sweet formulations). That shampoo was too drying, but it had a killer perfume.
Also, Vitabath is easy on the skin. I have super-sensitive skin--multiple allergies, a wacky immune system that is hyperreactive. I can't wear most make-up. I can't use most soaps. I tend to stick with just three that dont' make me get itchy with dermatitis: Cetaphil, Dr. Bronner's mint, Vitabath green.
Now, I'm a gal. We like to smell nice. Showering with Cetaphil, while gentle to the epidermis, is so boring. Dr. Bronner's mint--a marvelously cost-effective and cleasnsing formulation that leaves you squeaky clean, minty fresh, and makes for a gazillion bubbles on the sponge or towel--is fun for casual. But when you want to smell pretty and fresh (but not like GUM or TOOTHPASTE), Vitabath Green is it.
It doesn't make me itch, break out, or sneeze. It leaves me soft. It leaves me smelling like a goddess.
What's not to love?
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for anyone who can afford the price. (Wish it were less pricey.)
Vitabath Plus for Dry Skin Bath & Shower Gelee November 27, 2007 Karen Zygnerski (Brooklyn, NY United States) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I've been using this product for several years. While I experiment with different soaps during warm weather, I use only Vitabath Plus for Dry Skin from the first sign of cold weather to the last. It is the only product I've found that keeps my skin moisturized during the cold, dry weather. It costs a little more than many other products, but it's definitely worth it. And the 32 oz size lasts several months.
A Classic Fragrance with Endless Bubbles! October 25, 2007 R. Thornton (Toledo, Ohio area) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
When I was growing up in the 1960's, my mom received a small bottle of Vitabath as a gift. She didn't like the fragrance, but I went nuts for its clean, fresh, woodsy scent. She let me have the bottle, and I have been hooked on the scent, the bubbles and how clean it makes me feel ever since. I have incredibly sensitive skin, and anything like Aveeno or Eucerin shower gel makes me rashy. Forget about Dial, Zest or any Bath and Body Works stuff! Not Vitabath. I can use it as a bubble bath and not even have to rinse off in the shower after my bath. I put about ten tiny drops on my shower pouf every morning, and it not only wakes me up but keeps me fresh all day. Most men like to use it, too!
The *ultimate* bubble bath experience! February 19, 2008 Laura Anne-girl (Seattle, WA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
My mother, too, was given a small trial size and she didn't care for the scent, but I went so crazy for it that I even saved the packet long after I'd used every last drop of it!
If you love the smell of the forest and like fresh, clean scents, this is the bubble bath for you! I have been a devout fan for over 30 years; I never tire of it. The bubbles last forever and I truly can't think of a more refreshing scent. The other Vitabath Spring Green products don't seem to match the outstanding scent of the bubble bath, so I've just stuck with it.
This is THE bubble bath for a long, cozy soak. ENJOY!!

I have been enjoying the vitabath fresh citrus. If you enjoy a nice sensation and something to have a clean smell when you have finishing showering this is one the fragrance I would recommend.
